Simple
It does not take much to display a "document" and the process definitely should not be over complicated. I am able to write all that I need and display it in a nice clean format that is easy to read, easy to navigate, and easy to display for any computer. Life is already hard enough. Whenever it can be made simple and easy it is usually a good path to take. Take the path of least resistance unless the resistance is needed and truly sought after.
Expandable
Keeping it simple also allows me to learn about web design more expanding my knowledge and also expanding the website more. It is very easy to get lost in web design and even design in general. I like the design of this website so far, but I always feel like I could change something. I like the markdown language and display format. I want to dig down into that and using it for documentation. I could spend so much time on picking the "design" that could be put toward learning or other projects if I just pick a design and go. Keeping it simple and clean is the best way to start, to simply get started. We walk and then we run. Before we even walk though we learn to stand. Getting the website "standing" was the first step to opening so many more possibilities for what can be done.
Accessible
Finally giving the world access to it all. This site should be able to be displayed on any device that has internet access. It is pretty simple and light weight. My own personal space to share. I love the saying "standing on the shoulders of giants". Hoping to contribute to knowledge and expand it for others is so beautiful. I am in awe it what others of the past were able to figure out. If I can help anyone one in the future with anything I have shared I will feel that all of this has been a job well done. Documentation selfishly helps me understand and remembers things. I would like to possibly host this myself eventually, but paid hosting gives a lot of benefits including the peace of mind that I do not have to worry about the security of it all. Giving access to all makes me feel like this "project" has finally started. I have just started "walking".
